*In Mrs.Ohm's beginning orchestra class, we get music that we learn to play and then we perform the songs for our concerts.
This picture is a snippet from a video from the school's website. We recently performed in our concert playing the songs, "Dance Senario", "Accents", and "Canyon Sunset". It was so exciting because we have been practicing a lot. Over all, we did pretty great with little minor issues. I can't wait 'till orchestra next year.
We are playing a song called Telemann Sinfonia. It is really challenging and fun because of the paste and all the eighth notes. We are working really hard on the songs for our upcoming concert in May. Although we barely got it, we are progressing on learning the song. I can't wait till we all sincronize together and make it sound like music.
For quarter 2, last semester, we received new music. The song we are playing right now is called Dance Scenario. It is very challenging, especially since there are a lot of 8th notes. Mrs. Ohm always tells us to play correctly at the same time. We seem to have trouble because of the rhythm of the song.
In Mrs. Ohm's beginning orchestra, we learn how to read notes and how to play them. That picture is an example of how the notes look like on a staff. The song we are playing right now is Roundelay in D. We are practicing that song for our upcoming concert.
